    Salena Ringenbach (Class of 2016) has been selected to receive the Widener University Leadership Award. The award is given as part of Widener University's commitment to develop and inspire leaders to affect positive change.

    Catholic Schools Week began at Bishop Shanahan with the annual Mother-Son Mass and Breakfast. Over 250 mothers and sons celebrated Mass in the school auditorium and then enjoyed a delicious buffet breakfast at the Downingtown Country Club.

    The Bishop Shanahan Varsity Girls' Basketball Teams sponsored a "Coaches vs Cancer" event on Tuesday, January 6th during their games against Kennett. The money that was raised will be donated to the American Cancer Society.

    Following Bishop Shanahan High School's annual "Mass for Life", over forty Shanahan students, accompanied by theology teachers Joseph Aquilante and Rebecca Pine, participated in the 42nd annual "March for Life" in Washington, D.C. on January 22nd.

FINANCIAL AID FOR THE 2015-2016 SCHOOL YEAR is available by applying through the Private School Aid Service (PSAS). Click HERE for more information. 

 
 

ARCHDIOCESAN TRANSFER GRANTS of $1000 to attend Bishop Shanahan High School are available to 10th and 11th grade students transferring from public, private or charter schools at the end of the first semester of the 2014-2015 school year.  The second semester begins at the end of January 2015.
