Swimming Boys Captains
Twenty-seven members of the Fine Arts Department will be performing at the All-Catholic Chorus Festival which is being held at Archbishop Ryan High School on Sunday, February 2nd.
Twelve students from the Fine Arts Department have been selected to the All-Catholic Concert Band. The Band Festival will take place in March at Archbishop Ryan High School.

Senior Baritone Horn player Deanna Herb recently participated in the PMEA (Pennsylvania Music Educators Association) District 12 band festival. Through competitive audition, Deanna has advanced and become a member of the PMEA Region VI Band.
Almost 500 dads and daughters attended the annual Father-Daughter Dance sponsored by the National Honor Society and the final event of Catholic Schools Week.

Eric Savini has received an appointment to the Class of 2018 at the United States Military Academy at West Point. Congratulations to Eric and his family on receiving this singular honor.
February is Bishop Shanahan's Global Awareness Month. Freshman are holding signs representing children who died of hunger last year.
Eileen Mostyn, Class of 2017, has been named the 9th Grade winner in the local Christopher Columbus Essay Contest which is sponsored by the Chester County Chapter of the Daughters of the American Revolution.
Eight members of the Bishop Shanahan High School Class of 2014 have been named National Merit Finalists by the National Merit Scholarship Corporation.
Sr. Helen Rapine, IHM (former Principal and President) has been named a 2014 Distinguished Graduate of Catholic Education in Philadelphia.
