9th Grade Admission Procedure

9th Grade Students Registration takes place preferably at Open House during the month of November 2012. Later registrations may take place during the rest of the school year by calling the Enrollment Office for questions, 610-343-6206. Early registration is encouraged in order to insure a position in the current class.
The registration fee for the 2013 - 2014 school year is as follows:
AFTER February 15, 2013* $400
*extended from January 15, 2013 to February 15, 2013 |

Students from Parish Schools Registration involves completing registration form(s) and paying the registration fee. The parish school will forward report card grades and standardized test scores to Bishop Shanahan in January. Acceptance is determined by these reports and records along with teacher recommendations. Final failures must be made up in summer school. Students with a failing general average may not attend Bishop Shanahan. The registration fee for the 2013-2014 school year is due with the registration form. The registration fee is $350 or $400 based on the registration date (see above). $200 of the registration fee will be applied to the school fee. The registration fee is not refundable. |

Students from Non-Parish Schools or Out of State Registrations for students from non-parish schools or out of state schools involves completing registration form(s) and paying the registration fee. Each student must obtain from his or her previous school:
• A copy of the latest standardized testing All documents should be mailed to Mrs. Carol Dale. After all documentation is received, an appointment will be made for an interview with Sister Regina Plunkett, IHM, President at which time the student’s acceptance will be determined. The registration fee for the 2013-2014 school year is due with the registration form and records. The registration fee is $350 or $400 based on the registration date (see above). $200 of the registration fee will be applied to the school fee. The registration fee is not refundable. |

Transfer Students Parents of students desiring to transfer to Bishop Shanahan should call to make an appointment with Sister Maureen McDermott, IHM, PhD., Principal at (610) 518-1300. The documents to be presented at the interview with Sister Maureen McDermott are:
• Current year report card
