The Fine Arts Department of Bishop Shanahan has something for everyone. Please check the student handbook for the fees associated with club membership in these activities.

Fine Arts Department Chairperson: Mr. Chuck Keating (ckeating@shanahan.org)

Concert Band: This group of students meets on Tuesday and Thursday from 2:50 until 4:15pm. Private lessons are available. *Little or no prior experience is necessary to be part of this band.

Jazz Band: This band meets Tuesday and Thursday of each week from 4:15 until 5:30pm. *Students interested in Jazz become members by audition only.

Blues/Rock Band: This band meets Tuesday and Thursday of each week from 5:30 to 6:30pm. *Students can become members by audition only.

String Ensemble: The String Ensemble meets on Tuesday evenings from 6:30 to 8:00pm. *The only requirement is an interest in music, and a willingness to devote time to practice.
