Activities - Critics' Club

Moderator: Mrs. Alice Dowling

Meeting Day: Friday

Frequency of Meetings: Once a month with an occasional extra meeting once or twice a year. (All meetings are held in the Library.)

Purpose/Activities: The Critics Club is dedicated to promoting a love of reading by assigning interesting books to read and by leading lively discussion in a relaxed atmosphere. The club raises the student's awareness of social issues through the use of appropriate videos. Every member's opinion is welcomed.

Requirements: Students of all classes are welcome. Love of Reading is the only requirement.

Other Information: In addition to the time spent at the meetings themselves, additional personal time will need to be devoted to reading and/or viewing the assigned materials.
