Activities - Critics' Club
| Moderator: Mrs. Alice Dowling Meeting Day for 2007-08: 3rd Friday Frequency of Meetings: Once a month. (All meetings are held in the Library.) Purpose/Activities: The Critics Club is dedicated to promoting a love of reading by assigning interesting books to read and by leading lively discussion in a relaxed atmosphere. The club raises the student’s awareness of social issues through the use of appropriate videos. Every member’s opinion is welcomed. Requirements: Students of all classes are welcome. A genuine interest in books and videos is a must. Officers: President ~ Patricia Allan Other Information: In addition to the time spent at the meetings themselves, additional personal time will need to be devoted to reading and/or viewing the assigned materials. | ||||||
