Activities - Mock Trial

Moderator: Mr Roger Arthur

Meeting Day: Tuesday and/or Wednesday

Frequency of Meetings: Two to three times per week.

Purpose/Activities: The members of the Mock Trial Club spend a good portion of the year preparing either a civil case or a criminal case for trial, as put forth by the Pennsylvania Bar Association. They have the unique opportunity to learn about the court system of Pennsylvania from the inside, by actually participating in a real case carried out in a real courtroom, as they compete against other area schools. The proceedings are presided over by a Pennsylvania judge, and Pennsylvania lawyers serve as the jury.
