Welcome to the Bishop Shanahan Advancement & Alumni Website. Please take a moment and familiarize yourself with the tabs and the information contained in each. The Advancement Office works to "Advance the Mission of Bishop Shanahan High School" through philanthropy, programming and events. As many know, all tuition goes to the Archdiocese of Philadelphia for teachers' salaries and benefits. BIshop Shanahan relies on the Annual Fund (renamed the Shanahan Fund this year in honor of our 50th Anniversary), student fees and fundraisers to fund the Shanahan campus. Help us secure the funds needed to continue excellence in education here at BSHS. Our goal this year for the Shanahan Fund is $250,000. This fund has grown significantly over the past 5 years (from $54,500 in '02-'03 to $196,303 in '06-'07). Many thanks to the parents, grandparents, alumni (both BSHS and St. Agnes) who have made these numbers grow! The support and generosity of all constituencies is greatly appreciated. You are remembered daily in our prayers! As of Wednesday, May 14, 2008, our Shanahan Fund has reached $143,744 with 651donors..... please don't delay and donate ASAP to help us reach our goal! If you have already given, thank you! If your circumstances permit—a second gift would be greatly appreciated May 30th.....One month to go.....to date $157,830 with 730 donors.....you can help us reach our goal! Please feel free to contact anyone in the Advancement Office if you have any questions.
