Bishop Shanahan High School, a Catholic co-educational secondary school of the Archdiocese of Philadelphia, committed to sustaining excellence, provides a strong spiritual life, along with challenging academic and rich extracurricular programs. We offer a personalized and rigorous curriculum which has been designed to assist students to make the most of their academic talents. Students are also afforded many opportunities to discover and further their interests through the robust clubs and extracurricular activities offered at Bishop Shanahan.

Athletics

​At Bishop Shanahan High School, participation in athletics is another excellent means for our students to grow as "People of God; People for Others." Through interscholastic competition, students develop a sense of teamwork, self-discipline, and school pride. Excellence, athleticism, marked goals, leadership, effort,​ and success are hallmarks of our athletics program.​

Fine Arts

The Bishop Shanahan High School Art Program creates an atmosphere that encourages students to become more creative! From the annual Fall Musical to a plethora of Choirs, Bands and Clubs from which to choose, ​there is something for everyone in the arts at BSHS!​
