With great enthusiasm, we announce the appointment of Sister Marianne Therese Lallone, IHM as Assistant Principal for Student Affairs at Bishop Shanahan High School.
Sister Marianne is returning to Bishop Shanahan High School after having served as Directress of Vocations for the Sisters, Servants of the Immaculate Heart of Mary since 2015. A mission-driven and passionate Catholic educator, Sister Marianne previously served the Shanahan community for eleven years (2004-2015) as a theology teacher, department chairperson, and Assistant Principal for Student Affairs. Her earlier assignments include elementary and high school teaching positions.
A member of the Catholic School Leadership Program, Sister Marianne completed her Master’s degree in Educational Leadership and Administration from Marymount University in 2016. Sister also earned a Master’s degree in Theology from Saint Charles Borromeo Seminary and a Bachelor’s degree in English from Immaculata University. Additionally, she holds teaching certifications from the State of Pennsylvania.
To her new role, Sister Marianne brings tremendous zeal for forming young people as disciples of Jesus Christ. We look forward to her leadership in organizing the vibrant student life program at Bishop Shanahan, where there are opportunities for every student to be involved, where students explore and develop their gifts and talents, build friendships, cultivate leadership skills, learn to serve others, and become contributing members of society.
Please join us in extending prayerful best wishes to Sister Marianne Therese as she assumes her new role and know of our prayers for you and your family in these remaining weeks of summer.
