Members of the BSHS STEM Team visited the State Capitol in Harrisburg to receive their medals and citations for winning the Governor's STEM Competition. An official citation was read aloud, and members of the team were recognized on the floor of the House of Representatives. The team received a guided tour of the Capitol complex and met with State Representative Dan Williams and Pennsylvania Secretary of Education Eric Hagarty. The team's championship winning project, the Computerized Autonomous Suppressant System (CASS), was on display in the Governor's Reception Room. CASS is designed to revolutionize the way we protect ourselves and property from the dangers of fires and fire-suppression systems. Congratulations to our STEM Team for making us Shanahan Proud!
