TCHS
Mission/Overview:
Through Technical College High School (TCHS), students can begin preparing for an exciting career while still enrolled at Bishop Shanahan. TCHS offers a student-centered, career-focused education that blends hands-on learning with state-of-the-art technology and instruction from experienced industry professionals.
Application Process:
Students entering 11th or 12th grade apply during course selection with Mrs. Saggers, TCHS Liaison.
Components:
Students receive instruction and hands-on experience at the TCHS Brandywine Campus for two academic periods a day. A shuttle to and from TCHS runs daily from Bishop Shanahan. Programs offered include (but are not limited to):
- Animal Science & Technology
- Automotive Service Technology
- Commercial & Graphic Arts
- Culinary Arts
- Early Childhood Care & Education
- Health Occupations
- HVAC/Refrigeration Technology
