Dual Enrollment & Advanced Placement

Bishop Shanahan High School offers unique learning opportunities for 11th and 12th grade students, providing one of the most extensive selections of courses in the region. Students can challenge themselves through Advanced Placement (AP) courses, which offer college-level rigor and the opportunity to earn college credit.

In addition, our partnerships with Immaculata University and Neumann University allow students to take college courses on Shanahan’s campus, taught by university professors, and receive dual credit for both BSHS and the partner university.

Dual Enrollment

Bishop Shanahan’s dual enrollment program allows students to earn college credit while still in high school, giving them a strong academic advantage before graduation. These courses challenge students to think at a higher level, manage college-level expectations, and experience the pace and rigor of postsecondary study in a supportive environment.

By enrolling in dual enrollment courses, students can strengthen their transcripts, explore potential majors, and reduce future college costs, all while remaining grounded in Shanahan’s faith-filled community. Guided by dedicated faculty, Eagles are encouraged to take ownership of their learning and prepare with confidence for what comes next.
