Junior Daniel Zimmerman finished second overall with a time of 16:38.7 on Friday as Bishop Shanahan captured the 2025 District I Boys' 2A Cross Country Championship on the campus of Lehigh University.
The Eagles compiled 34 points to edge runner-up Holy Ghost by a single point. Sophomore Mitchell Croll was the second BSHS runner to cross the tape as he placed fourth overall in a time of 16:47.3.
Bishop Shanahan will next compete on Saturday, Nov. 1, at the PIAA Championships in Hershey. The Boys' 2A Championship is scheduled to begin at 12:30 p.m.
