Boys' & Girls' Track and Field | Novice Meet
The boys' and girls' track and field teams braved the cold and rainy elements to compete in the Novice Meet in Kennett Square! Medal winners included:
Hurdlers Emma Gula and Juliana Jascewsky, who actually tied for 4th place in the 100H with Emma hitting her PR with at time of 20.34.
In the boys' 100m dash Mahdi Nanacasse sprinted to a 4th place finish with a time of 12.14.
In the girls' mile, Julia Taylor ran an impressive time of 6:10.48 earning her a sixth-place medal.
In the girls' long jump, Clair Voss leaped to a 6th place finish with a time 12’0.50”.
In the girls' 300H, Lauren Serpentine ran away from the field and raced to victory with a PR time of 54.72.
In the boys' shot put, Nicolas Morales made the podium tying for 5th place with a heave of 31’9”.
In the girls' 3200, Lauren Calle and Katie Kolimago finished 1st and 2nd with times of 15:27.20 and 15:28.09 respectively.
Sarah O’Donnell took 4th place in the high jump.
