Boys Winter Track Results 1/4

The Boy’s Winter Track team kicked off 2026, competing in a highly competitive meet at the Ott Center in Philadelphia, against some of the finest talent in the state of PA.

Leading the way for the Eagles was Senior Colin Cregan, cracking the 7-second mark in the 60m dash, setting a new school record of 6.99 seconds, currently ranked 5th in the entire state of PA. Colin also ran a PR in the 200m dash with a time of 22.60 seconds.

Senior Leaders Greg Palaia and Aidan Civitella continue to give their absolute best and lead by example. Aidan competed in the 60m with a time of 7.47 seconds, and Greg competed in the 60m with a time of 7.57 seconds and the 200m, setting a new PR with a time of 23.83 seconds.

Rounding out the field for the 60m dash were Freshman Matt Muldowney, who ran 8.38 seconds, and Junior Matt Menard, who ran a time of 8.15 seconds.

Junior AJ Nesbitt soared to new heights in the pole vault, setting a PR with a leap of 12 feet, tying for 5th place overall out of a stellar field of vaulters.

Sophomore Ethan Katz also continues to master his craft of pole vaulting with a new PR of 8 feet.

We had several other 400m runners who volunteered to run this race: James Kyle, 54.75 seconds, Kieran Pierce, 58.11 seconds, and Chris Leahy, 59.14 seconds.

We had two first-time long jumpers, including Junior Matthew Menard and Sophomore Chris Leahy, who leaped 14 feet 11 inches and 17 feet 5 inches, respectively. It is always encouraging to see our athletes take a leap of faith and try different events; that is how you get better.
