Three Shanahan players competed in the ChesMont Singles Tennis Championship tournament at Henderson High School. Daniel Gallagher entered as the #2 seed, with Liam O’Sullivan and Michael Ziegler also representing BSHS.
Liam and Michael both played strong opening matches with long rallies and tight games. Daniel had a first-round bye and followed up with two dominant wins— 6-0, 6-0 in the second round and 6-1, 6-3 in the quarterfinals against a top player from Downingtown East.
We wish Daniel the best of luck as he advances to the Semifinals on Friday. April 11!
