Congratulations, Mrs. Riccardo '63!

"Ladies take the floor!" We know what that means - Mrs. Nancy Riccardo '63 is on the microphone! Hundreds of Lady Eagles have heard this phrase over the past 40 years from their dedicated and unwavering Coach Nancy Riccardo. During halftime at last Friday's football game, the Shanahan community celebrated Mrs. Riccardo!

She was Captain of the Bishop Shanahan cheer squad her senior year, and returned to the mat in 1984 as coach. She is more than a cheer coach; she has served the Bishop Shanahan community over the past 40 years in so many ways including as assistant librarian, Senior Class moderator, homecoming advisor, Chairperson of the Golden Anniversary, and in 2015 was bestowed the Shanahan Medal.

When you think of Coach Riccardo you think of energy, excitement, and unwavering dedication. We thank you, Mrs. Riccardo, for all of your years of service and for the impact you have made on the Bishop Shanahan community over the past 40 years!
