Maria Butoi '28 is the United States Hunter Jumper Association ZONE2 Champion for Younger Children Hunters. 15 top riders from ZONE2 competed in this event held at the Pennsylvania Farm Show Complex in Harrisburg. Maria and her horse, Global Obsession, won 3 of the 4 over fence classes and placed 2nd in the 4th, securing the top spot in the division. Next, Maria will compete in October in the prestigious Pennsylvania National Horse Show held again in Harrisburg. 30 of the top riders in the country in each division were invited to participate.
