New AED!

Bishop Shanahan High School recently received a complimentary automated external defibrillator (AED), a life saving device, through the efforts of Mr. Paul Meyers, BSHS Athletic Director, and the generosity of Simon's Heart, The Philadelphia Eagles, and Amazon Prime! 

In 2005, Simon’s Heart emerged following the heartbreaking loss of 3-month-old Simon Sudman to Sudden Cardiac Arrest (SCA). Since then, they’ve screened 18,796 hearts, trained 250,000 in CPR, deployed 400+ AEDs, educated 1.8M coaches and athletes, and influenced legislation in 17 states.
