On Friday night, the girls basketball team faced #7 Lower Moreland in the first round of the District 1 playoffs. Leading the offense was Carmel Ambrose with 18 points, followed by Lauren Foster and Abby Garrity with 10 points each. Annie Udo and Taylor Bollenbach dominated the boards, combining for 19 rebounds. The team stayed in control throughout the game and finished with a strong 49–30 win to advance in the playoffs.
They will take on rivals Villa Maria tonight at Villa Maria, with tip-off set for 6:00.
