Shanahan Swim and Dive Team Compete in District 1 Championship

The swim and dive team completed a successful District 1 Championship meet this past weekend. The girls finished 10th overall with Julia Roselli finishing 7th in the 200 free and 8th in the 100 fly. Whitney Kane won both the 200 free and 500 free and was named athlete of the meet.
The boys team finished 5th overall. Landyn Snook finished first in diving and 2nd in the 50 free. Joe Tabella finished 11th in the 50 free and Alex Olivo finished 13th in the 50 free. The medley relay team of Liam Welsh, Alex Olivo, Landyn Snook and Joe Tabella finished 5th. The 200 free relay team of Joe Tabella, Alex Olivo, Liam Pierce and Landyn Snook finished 4th.
Whitney Kane and Landyn Snook will compete at the PIAA State Championships next Friday and Saturday at Bucknell University.
