The BSHS varsity volleyball team defeated the Rustin Golden Knights earlier this week, 3 sets to 1. The Lady Eagles were led at the service line by Keira Dunn who had 3 aces and 18 points. Jess Chilcote and Mia Mascherino also each had 3 aces apiece. The offense continued with Cat Detweiler leading scoring with 12 kills. Other notable hitters included Karoline Springman with 9 kills, Ava Barnhart with 6, and Mia Mascherino and Sarah Martinson each with 5. Amelia McDermott, Emily May, and Audrey Sautner set up the offense with 18, 16, and 8 assist respectively. This bumps the Lady Eagles' record up to 2 and 0 on the season.
