AOP Pep Rally

AOP Pep Rally

On September 20, students, faculty, staff, and administrators representing the 102 elementary schools, 15 high schools, and 3 schools of Special Education joined together for a Archdiocesan Back to School Pep Rally held at Cardinal O'Hara High School!

BSHS Student Council members and the Shanahan Eagle represented Shanahan. Archbishop Perez shared with the students that they are a part of something bigger and must strive for greatness in both faith and character.

The fun and festive morning also included performances by O’Hara’s Marching Band and Cheer Squads, as well as the much anticipated mascot races, which included the 15 Archdiocesan High School Mascots — the finish line ribbon for each of the heats was held by Andrew McLaughlin, Ed.D., Secretary of Elementary Education, Brooke Tesche, Ed.D., Superintendent of Secondary Schools and Schools of Special Education, as well as a number of elementary and Special Education students. The Shanahan Eagle took 2nd place - it was a great day of school spirit that kicked off the school year!
