Bishop Shanahan Celebrates Graduating and Incoming Newman Scholars

On April 19, the Connelly Foundation hosted a reception honoring the graduating Neumann Scholars from the Class of 2026 and welcoming the incoming Class of 2030 to Archdiocesan secondary schools.

The event began with Holy Mass at the National Shrine of Saint John Neumann, celebrated by Archbishop Nelson Pérez, which also served as the installation ceremony for the Class of 2030. It was followed by an awards luncheon recognizing the Class of 2026, featuring remarks from the Archbishop, Tom Riley, President of the Connelly Foundation, and Bill Brannick, Superintendent of Secondary Schools.
