Catholics from around the Philadelphia area gathered on Sunday, March 12 at St. Patrick's Church in Philadelphia ahead of the Memorial of Saint Patrick, celebrated on March 17th! Many of the faithful throughout the Archdiocese, including many of those preparing to march in the 251st Saint Patrick’s Day Parade, attended this beautiful, annual Mass! Reverend Kevin Gallagher, Pastor of Saint Denis Parish in Havertown (Delaware County) and Chaplain of the parade, concelebrated with Archbishop Nelson Perez. The Philadelphia Emerald Society Pipe Band and Bishop Shanahan High School Choir provided beautiful music for the Mass and helped lead the procession! Way to go, Eagles!
