Shanahan concluded Global Awareness Month with an educational simulation for freshman and sophomore theology classes led by the Faith in Action students. The simulation was designed to help students understand a few aspects that Caitlin and Martin experienced in "I Will Always Write Back," and ended with students pledging to unite to "Be the One" in their own lives. They also put their love for others into action by sending a letter to Congress to advocate for International Hunger Assistance.
