Global Awareness Month | Simulation

Global Awareness Month culminated in a special activity led by Faith in Action students who guided their peers through educational stations that brought to life the themes that had been presented throughout the month. The simulation applied the themes of poverty, differences/unity, injustice, and community to life in the Rukwa region of Tanzania, and also shared several initiatives begun by the Rukwa Foundation. This effort was in partnership with Catholic Relief Services, helping Shanahan students to become empathetic, global citizens who recognize that when we come together as a community, "Whatever we do for the least of our brothers and sisters, we do for Jesus."
