Global Awareness Month | War & Violence

The focus for this week of Global Awareness Month was war and violence, taking inspiration from the story of Mahmoud in the summer reading program book "Refugee." In Mahmoud's story, he goes to great lengths to remain hidden and safe from the effects of the civil war progressing around him. Faith in Action seniors did their best to remain hidden in between classes while having to carry or wear bizarre objects that attract attention. Underclassmen who spotted the seniors were given raffle tickets to collect for a prize drawing at the end of the school day.
