National Summit at March for Life

The Archdiocese of Philadelphia had nearly 90 students attend the National Summit at the Annual March for Life. At the Summit, students participated in the LifeFest event, sponsored by the Sisters of Life and the Knights of Columbus, which included a music festival, Adoration, Reconciliation, keynote speakers, and Mass. Shanahan students Zoe Lynch and Gina Kern represented Shanahan along with club moderator Mr. Aquilante, while back at Shanahan the Respect Life Club stood in solidarity with those who attended the March. The club also shared the following prayer as the Catholic Church marks Respect Life Month:

Father and maker of all, you adorn all creation with splendor and beauty, and fashion human lives in your image and likeness. Awaken in every heart reverence for the work of your hands, and renew among your people a readiness to nurture and sustain your precious gift of life. Grant this through our Lord Jesus Christ, your Son, who lives and reigns with you in the unity of the Holy Spirit, God forever and ever. Amen.
