Shanahan Students Celebrate the end of Global Awareness Month

On Monday, our community celebrated the end of Global Awareness Month.

The junior Faith in Action students designed a four-part simulation which correlated with our theme Where is Home? The simulation was offered to all theology classes throughout the day and challenged students to reflect on primary themes from our summer reading, We Are Displaced by Malala Yousafzai.

The ultimate goal was to increase awareness of the inconvenience and dangers of displacement in the lives of those who must live amidst the struggles of war and violence.
