Ignite
Ignite is a Confirmation retreat for middle school students held at Bishop Shanahan High School.
Experience faith, friends, and fun!
Registration for Ignite 26-27 will open on July 1st.
Please note that registration will close one week before each retreat OR once full. If you have any questions or concerns, please contact ignite@shanahan.org.
Retreat Agenda:
Arrival: Students are welcome to arrive beginning at 8:50 AM at the Main Doors of BSHS.
Attire: Comfortable, casual, modest clothing. Sneakers or other closed-toe shoe recommended for activities.
Lunch: Will be provided in the Cafeteria.
Pickup: Pickup is promptly at 1:30 PM at the Main Doors of BSHS. Please note: Due to security and safety concerns, early pickups are not permitted.
You'll enjoy equal parts of faith, friends and fun through participation in prayer, reflection, Adoration, team games, sports, and activities! Lunch is included.
FAITH
Recognizing that it can become increasingly more difficult for young people to live out their faith in an authentic and joy-filled way, this retreat will provide opportunities for prayer and reflection. With the help of peer ministers from Bishop Shanahan High School, participants will be given tools to remain rooted in faith, especially through prayer.
FRIENDS
Whether you are home schooled, go to a public school, attend a parish PREP, or attend a Catholic school, you are invited and very welcome to attend IGNITE at Bishop Shanahan High School. Come and make new friends from all over Chester County, get to know students who attend BSHS, and see what we mean by "seek the things that are found above!"
FUN
From a campus-wide scavenger hunt to unique arts & crafts projects, from team games to outdoor activities, and so much more - we have a great day planned for all of our guests at IGNITE!
