Grease Audition Information

Shanahan is proud to announce the fall musical: Grease (School Edition)! Auditions will be held on 8/15 and 8/22 at 6:30 PM.

Vocal:

• The musical has a wide range of vocals for both male and female parts. Selections have been bracketed in each piece.

Dance:

• Each student auditioning will learn a basic dance routine.  

Acting:

• Students will go through a basic improv audition. You will be asked to act out different scenarios given to you by Mr. Frantz.  

Other Preparations:

• Come prepared for the audition. Wear appropriate clothing. You are auditioning for the Grease Musical (School Edition), research the acting styles in the musical. You can Youtube the Grease Musical (School Edition) and watch to get a feel for what will be needed for your audition. Do not wear flip flops.
