National Honor Choir

National Honor Choir

The American Choral Directors Association (ACDA) National Honor Choir is an audition-only honor choir that takes place every two years. This year, over 10,000 students across the country auditioned for this event - only 400 singers were accepted through a rigorous selection process.

Daniella Eggles '26 was accepted into the High School Grades 11-12 SATB Ensemble, and Gavriella Friz '27 was accepted into the High School Grades 9-10 SSAA Ensemble! Daniella and Gavriella were chosen as some of the best singers in the nation to participate in their respective Honor Choirs! Congratulations on this incredible achievement!

The accepted students will be invited to travel to the ACDA National Conference taking place in Dallas, Texas in March. Over the course of the 4-day event, singers will sing challenging repertoire, and participate in rehearsals and vocal workshops led by prolific choral conductors. Additionally, students will be attending multiple college fairs, private concerts, and question and answer sessions given by VOCES8 and the Tuks Camerata, Grammy-nominated and globally touring choral ensembles. At the completion of the event, the Honor Choirs will perform a concert at the AT&T Performing Arts Center!
