Bishop Shanahan strives to have an endowment of $10 million to be able to make additional investments in Shanahan students and faculty, as well as its current purpose of tuition assistance.
Bishop Shanahan High School's Endowment Fund is the school's largest financial asset. It is a perpetual source of support for the school and its mission. The principal is invested and each year approximately 5% of the endowment is used to support the School’s greatest needs. Currently the BSHS Endowment is approximately $1.2 million and generates $60K is used to support tuition assistance for families in need. All gifts to the endowment fund add to the principal and strengthen the future of Bishop Shanahan for generations to come.
In partnership with BSHS and its knowledgeable professionals who sit on the Board of Directors, SEI Investments Company manages the BSHS Endowment portfolio. SEI has a singular mission of producing strong investment results to support the educational goals of BSHS. SEI works to manage the Endowment in a sustainable way so that it can provide capital to support the long-term goals of the school.

Join The Shanahan Society
The Shanahan Society is a group of individuals who have identified BSHS as the recipient of a planned gift. Bequests, Retirement Assets, Charitable Gift Annuities, Life insurance that include BSHS as a beneficiary, allow the Endowment to grow and leave a legacy that promotes a sustainable Catholic education at Bishop Shanahan High School. Joining the Shanahan Society requires no immediate financial contribution. Contact the Advancement Office to be a part of the Shanahan legacy as you create yours.
