The Outing
All proceeds from the Bishop Shanahan Golf Outing are restricted for the Bishop Shanahan Endowment Fund. Earnings from the endowment fund provide tuition assistance for those who want, but cannot afford, a Catholic education. Our efforts have helped create a self-sustaining vehicle that will make a difference in the lives of the families in our community.
This year's Golf Outing is shaping up to be one of the biggest in our fundraising history. Hosted at Chester County’s most prominent golf course, it’s perfect for a day of fun, food and relaxation. Join us this September to help support Bishop Shanahan.
The Course
The 18 hole championship golf course and related practice facilities of French Creek Golf Club are a stunning example of the world class designs of architect Gil Hanse. The golf course encompasses 230 scenic acres and plays only 13,000 rounds per year which allows easy access to the golf course, no tee times and a quick pace of play. There are four sets of tees and three composite tees that offer variety and playing options to our members and their guests. It truly offers a fair test for golfers of all golfing abilities.
The Clubhouse
French Creek Golf Club upholds the traditions of the game to the highest of standards, practices classic golf course maintenance, has a truly professional staff, and thrives on being a world class facility. The amenities offered by the club include a colonial styled clubhouse that encompasses vaulted ceilings, picture windows framing amazing views, and breathtaking elegance. French Creek has a pro shop available to our golf outing participants, well stocked with quality merchandise and a knowledgeable and helpful staff. The club has a practice area for participants to warm up their golf clubs and train at their leisure.
