Making the Switch

We look forward to helping you make the switch to Shanahan! Bishop Shanahan High School welcomes students interested in transferring to apply for grades 9, 10, and 11. A student applying to transfer to Bishop Shanahan for the 2023-2024 academic year should be in good academic and disciplinary standing, and looking for a rigorous course of study and rich extracurricular activities in a Catholic school environment. 

Steps to Apply

1.) Submit the online application via SchoolAdmin, our online application portal, and send a Request for Records to your current school. Transcripts should include academic, attendance, and disciplinary records, as well as the most recent standardized test scores. 

2.) Request a recommendation from two current teachers via SchoolAdmin. 

3.) Apply for Financial Aid via FACTS, if applicable. 

4.) When the application is complete, a member of the Admissions Team will reach out to schedule an interview with Shanahan’s Principal, Dr. Robert Moran.

5.) Schedule an Eagle for a Day visit by contacting Sister Hannah Miller at hmiller@shanahan.org.
