Be a Shanahan Eagle for a Day!
The Shanahan Eagle for a Day Shadow Program allows students in 8th grade or those transferring from another high school to experience a typical day at BSHS. This is the best way to get an idea of what it’s like to be a Shanahan student. Visitors will be matched with a Shanahan student with similar interests. Together they will tour campus, attend classes, and meet teachers and coaches. Visitors will enjoy a complimentary lunch. (We recommend the fries!)
This program runs from October through April. Current 8th and 9th grade families may register via the link above. To schedule a Shadow Day for a current sophomore transfer student, please call Shadow Coordinator, Sister Hannah Miller at 610-343-6231.
When you arrive…
Student visitors should arrive by 8:00 AM in the school's main entrance and report to the Main Office, where they will meet a friendly admissions team member and their student ambassador. The student visitor attends classes with the ambassador throughout the day. The visit concludes at 2:00 PM when the Shadow Ambassador will escort the visitor to the main entrance of the school.
What to wear…
If your current school requires a uniform, please wear that on your Shadow Day. If you do not wear a school uniform, please dress as you would for Mass or a nice dinner. Please no jeans, t-shirts or tank tops.
